The TM9355 is a DMR mobile two way radio from Tait. An IP54 rating means that the radio has a limited Ingress protection against dust, whilst also being safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles. Crystal clear audio quality is supplied via a front mounted speaker, this enabling the operator to understand messages at the first time of asking. A display is present on the front of the radio, allowing the user to quickly see both the channel and zone they are broadcasting over alongside status symbols. Available for both UHF and VHF frequencies, the TM9355 has a channel capacity of 1000 allowing for more than sufficient communications between a large expanding workforce. With analogue capabilities this provides a variety of scanning types for the radio, these including Priority, Dual Priority, Editable, Zone and Background Scan. The TM9355 makes use of both individual calls, whilst also having the capability to perform group calls so separate teams are able to communicate between themselves without interruption from irrelevant traffic. The TM9355 has the ability to send short data messages, these including location information, status updates and pre-programmed text messages. Vehicle installation kits are available should they be needed, allowing for the TM9355 to be used in both desk and transport environments. Lone Worker feature comes as standard on the radio helping to increase safety by monitoring activity levels, should a radio be inactive for a pre-set period of time then a beep will sound from the radio, if this were not to be responded to then an alert will be sent to the base station or other radios within the network.
