The radio comes as standard with a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery which dependent on use will last for up to 14 hours, if long operation is required then a larger 2000mAh battery can be purchased for an additional price. The Hytera PD605 is packed full of emergency functions to ensure the safety of users in the workplace. An emergency mode raises alarm with top priority to a base station or other radios, with the ability to identify the radio in need so that they can be sought after much quicker. Lone Worker feature measures times of user inactivity, should the timer expire and no response is made by the user an alarm is triggered. With the option for priority interrupt, should a critical message need to be relayed then it can be in times of need, disrupting other communications going on at that point. The PD605 has a massive 256 channel capacity, spread across 16 zones each with 16 channels.
