The PD565 is a digital two way radio from Hytera. Although lightweight this radio has a wide variety of features both for safety and usability. Supporting both digital and analogue communications, the PD565 is flexible in allowing for different uses, whether you be within a hospitality environment or an industry such as construction. As standard the 565 comes with a 1500mAh Li-Ion Battery that will provide up to 14 hours of use, but should you need the radio to operate for longer, a larger 2000mAh Li-Ion battery is available which can last up to 24 hours. The Hytera PD565 has a 512 channel capacity, spread across 32 zones with 16 channels per zone. A 3 line monochrome display with partial key pad makes up the front of the device, alongside 6 programmable buttons in order to improve the usability of the PD565. Built to IP54 Standards, the radio is dust protected as well as being protected against splashes of water. Priority interrupt means that should an important announcement need to be made to workers, all communications will be put on hold whilst the announcement is made to all devices. Voice activation means that hands free communication is a possibility. Other safety features such as lone worker and man down add to the benefits of the PD565, man down ensuring that should someone have an injury they are able to be located should they not be able to get to their radio. Pre-programmed text messaged can also be added to this radio, allowing for easy communication between workers should it not be an urgent matter where vocal communication is important.
